A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words

Have you ever read a quote and it feels like it is talking to you? For me I come across quotes all the time that I feel are just what I needed to hear, like this one:

This quote is so me. I am in love with so many places that I feel are a dream come true and a perfect place to live, but yet I have never been there or even experienced it at all. So other than quotes, have you ever came across a photograph or a painting that does the exact same thing? Well this photo does for me everyday.

When I was younger I loved Beauty and the Beast (actually still do..) and I love, love to read any chance I get, but I adore Doctor Who. When I found this photo, It just felt like it was created just for me! (And obviously many others who enjoy the same things) This photo is now my Phones background because I enjoy looking at it daily. :)

Nothing new hasn't really been going on, still at home laying around waiting for the okay to start doing anything from my Dentist. So no workout of the day for awhile. Also no clean eating photos to post either. (Ice cream and tomato soup are my meals everyday) As soon as I am back on my feet and to my "normal" schedule, I will post my workouts that I do daily and the meals I have ate and progress pictures along the way.

In other news I missed the book club meeting! (and we were actually deciding on books this time) I really need to write stuff down and keep a calendar that I will always look at. Here is the list of books we are starting to read:
1-Labor Day by Joyce Maynard
2-Winters Tale by Mark Halprin
3-Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
4-Divergent by Veronica Roth
5-The fault in our stars by John Green
6-The Giver by Lois Lowry
7-The Maze Runner by James Dashner
8-Serena by Ron Rash

So the first book (Labor Day) I am on chapter 21... So I'm almost done with the book. Here is a link of the Plot description for the book if you are interested in reading it and also all these books from the list are being released in theaters this year, so I will also post the link to view the trailer. Our plan for the book club is to read the book and then go see it in theaters as they are released.

I know I have put a lot into this post, but it's been a couple of days since my last post. I will try to work on that!

New Years Goals and Wisdom Teeth

Today I went to the dentist at 8 am to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. Not fun...
They put me under and later I found my self in my bed at home.. With no clue how I got there. My husband said I was acting crazy and I cried just because I couldn't eat my pudding. Here's how the conversation went:
Marco: Today you can only eat liquids
Me: Not even pudding?
Marco: No not until tomorrow
Me: (starting to cry) I can't eat my pudding?
Marco: It will be ok
Me: (crying harder) I bought all that pudding and I can't eat it? ... I'm going to die....!!!
Marco: (Laughing) No you wont die, you can eat pudding tomorrow
Me: (Calmed down) I can tomorrow? You Promise?
Marco: Yes

I don't remember this but I wish he would have recorded it, because I would have loved to see it haha

So this post isn't just going to be about wisdom teeth.... It's about my goals for this blog for this year (and future posts I hope).

Here's some brainstorming that I have decided that I would like to write about.
-Fashion- I am starting up school again this year and continuing to my dream of becoming a Fashion designer with many more goals for my career.
-Health & Fitness- My husband and I have turned into fitness junkies and have started working out every day together and eating clean and I will post our progress on here.
-Crazy things my boys say- If you don't already know I have 2 boys pretty young (3 and 1 soon to be 2!) and They say some pretty crazy things that either make us confused or just flat cracks us up!
-22 before 22 List completions!- Continuing with my goal list before my birthday and will post them on here as I knock them out
-Traveling- Now that we live in Japan I have many places I want to travel and see and I just want to share them!
-Faith- this past year some things have happened in life that just turn me to God more, so I am making it this year to bring him into our household and become a family Christ.

These are just some goals I hope to accomplish this year and I can't wait to share and write them out for everyone to enjoy! Love this Quote!

An overdue update..... And moving day!

I apologize. Life just takes us away sometimes and well I can't keep up with it all and when I had time to update the blog I was just either too tired or too lazy. But well let's just jump right in....

The days are starting to FLY by! The first day of moving was yesterday. One guy came to our house and packed up all the stuff by himself! It was crazy but he was very nice and did it all in a crazy fast time frame! (About 4 hours!)

He was nice enough to leave our beds up still so we can sleep in them until Wednesday. When he left our house around 2 in the afternoon we realized how boring our house is! No Internet, no T.V, nothing was out! So we took a walk to the bowling alley. We spent sometime there and let the boys play some games. And we all went to be pretty early too!

Now today! It was a crazy and restless night. I could not sleep. I just hate when that happens too because then Ill be awake just thinking of things that either keep me awake more or stress me out!
Since we still have nothing in our house we took another walk today to the AFRC (Airman and Family Readiness Center). Hubby checked his work email for our tickets! (So glad to finally have them!) and the boys and I played with toys that were available while we waited and also checked the Airman's Attic. I went in hoping to find some board games for us but nope none, except a big wheel that my oldest son just had to have so.... I let him ride it home! I mean it will keep them both preoccupied and busy with all their toys packed away. I will have to get rid of it though before we leave but hey it was free and so I'll let him enjoy it for Awhile before we head to the airport.
Now that we have tickets on hand and everything is packed we are ready to get out of this house!

But we still have lots to accomplish before then.
Well that is a little update and I'll try to keep uploading a new post everyday.

A quote I read today:

       Note to self:
           RELAX!
You are enough!
You have enough!
You do enough!

And this is so me. I just need to RELAX! Some things I just can't control and that is OK!

Run, Run, Run

No not that kind of running (I wish it was, I would prefer to be outside running as far as I can for a VERY looonnnngggg time!) What I mean by run is running around, all day, in the car.

Hubby had to get up early to go to work for weekend duty. And when he gets there they send him home and he works 10-10 today instead. While he is telling me this I am barely listening, because I am passed out in bed. It is 7 am and I went to bed at 1:30! I was exhausted and fairly irritated by just about anything.

Anyways so skipping ahead to 10 o'clock. Loaded the boys up in the car and took him to work. Then I went back home to get the boys dressed and ready for the day.

Oh yea did I mention while I dropped my husband off at work he informed me he forgot to shave and needed me to bring him his razor back to his work. After getting the boys dressed, I put them back into the car. I text him to let him know I am ready to drop off his razor. No reply so we went to the library instead. As soon as we get to the library guess who calls. Yep. So I finish at the library getting movies and books quickly, back to the car, fasten the boys in again and head off.

On the way to the Mr.'s work I am calling him no answer, so I call again no answer. When I arrive at the gate he calls me and says he is off for lunch. It's only been 20 minutes since he came into work! So he rides along with the boys and I to run some errands.

Stopped at the BX to get stickers for our potty training boy, then to the commissary for some tide.

Next stop, the house so hubby can shave.

Then we leave again! It's lunch time so out we go.

After eating he goes back to work, and the boys and I go back home for naptime. After they nap I start to make dinner and then it's time to pick up the Mr. from work. He didn't work all the way to 10, only 4 which was good then we had the rest of the evening to relax and spend time together.

All day I feel like I have been go-go-go! Also with him working weekend duty I am getting confused about what day it is.

I am getting really excited for my parents to be into town next weekend, and tomorrow is my Best Friends Birthday. I am excited to spend the day with her and let the boys play!

Today's quote "If you change nothing, nothing will change."

My journal entry for today: What was your weakness today? -My weakness today? Hmmmm today I'm not so sure I encountered a weakness. I guess I could say sweet tea. I'm obsessed with sweet tea, and have been trying to cut back on it, but I had one today. A very large one at that hahaha.

Potty Training

In the past we have tried potty training with our oldest one. He at first was interested then he didn't want any part of it at all after a few days. So I decided to wait until he was ready.

After buying him his own and his very first pairs of underwear he was so excited to start wearing them.

He loves it! I am so glad he is on board this time around. He doesn't want to wear diapers at all anymore. Although we have had a couple of accidents, well that is just bound to happen in the transition from diapers to underwear. He has gone to the potty when he needs to go. This is just a proud parent moment!

Also the 1st time we tried potty training we used M&Ms as a reward, but this time I am using stickers and he is even more excited about getting those than candy! :)

I am a little nervous for the 1st night no diapers. I have a plan though to wake up every hour and take him to potty. Hopefully it will go well! Wish me luck!!

On a side note we went and picked up the boy's medical records, so we can get them turned in and hopefully hubby will be able to get orders soon after!

Can't wait to be there in 2 months!

4am Phone Call

4 AM. Phone rings, it's my mom. I immediately knew, but I hesitated to answer the phone, maybe because I didn't want it to be IT yet! But it was. My grandpa passed away. About a month ago my grandpa got really sick and he knew and we all knew his time was coming. Thinking about it, still shocks me. I know eventually every ones time runs up here and they move on, but I never thought of it being this soon. He was a 2nd dad to me (I guess 3rd if we want to count my actual dead beat dad) I am thankful for the memories I have with him. He took me to school every morning, and one day he had a toilet in the back of his truck (he was going to take it to the dump after), but I did NOT want to get in that truck at all. I was so embarrassed. Thinking about it now, is just funny. My sister and I even got him hooked on the 'Wild Thornberry's'. I know he is happy being with all of our family up there, but I'm being selfish and I just want him here. I guess that's how everyone acts when someone close to them passes away.

After hanging up with my mom, I couldn't go back to sleep so I moved down stairs on the couch ate cookies (I'm bad I know) and watched Fringe. I felt like a wreck, probably looked like one too, (I was not about to look at myself in the mirror). Some people may think being away is easier to deal with it, but it isn't because it gives you a feeling of regret and just more sadness. I should be there with my family, I WANT to be there with my family, but I can't....
Living far away just sucks sometimes. I am very blessed to have such a tight knit family.

Also I just want to say I am thankful that my boys met my amazing grandpa!

He put this basket on to make my boys laugh. :)

I needed a little pick me up (I guess some thinking time too) so I read a quote,

'Before you talk, listen
Before you react, think
Before you criticize, wait,
Before you pray, forgive
Before you quit, try'

This is sort of calming to me to just read it and re-read it. To free my mind.

One more thing before I go; the best part about today was when my oldest son kept thanking me for giving him underwear. Haha I just can't quit laughing, he would keep saying "you buy me undies? Oh thank you mommy"

Fun Filled Day

The OKC Zoo! We joined our friends for a fun filled day at the zoo! It's very large, mainly because everything is spaced out quite a bit, so walking is mandatory. Luckily, we decided ahead of time to ride the tram around. I still can not believe we've never done that before! It's great especially on very hot days, and with rowdy little ones, well they enjoyed it as much as we did! We had some company though (besides our amazing friends who joined us) but a bug, a huge one I might add. A cicada. Those things are creepy! It landed on our friend and her son, so my husband picked it up to toss it off and it made a HORRIBLE noise! It was weird to hear it, um I guess scream?

Anyways the zoo. It was great to get out of the house and enjoy ourselves as a family and with pretty awesome friends! We let the little ones play around in the water before we left. I think that was the highlight of their day :) After the zoo we headed to Ihop for a late lunch. Bad idea to order an appetizer, because by the time my meal came I was not hungry but ate it anyways, and I am still mad at myself for doing that! Being so full, made me tired and feeling blah. Not a great feeling.

Today I realized that hubby has exactly 1 month, 1 week, and 4 days left until he takes his leave from work to move to Japan! (I guess his last day of work then!)  It's crazy how fast the days go by. Some days I am so excited to go, then other days I feel sad because I've met an amazing friend here and I am going to miss her so much! I know we will always be Best friends, I'll make sure of it. It's a promise to me and to her, I will stay in touch! She's been there for me everyday and has helped me out in ways that I just have to say 'Thank You'.

Excited about this journey our family will soon encounter!
